Pitta chips are super quick and easy to make and are a great snack alternative to crisps.
My two children love them and they are a great addition to lunch boxes and picnics or as a snack for watching a movie.
I use wholemeal pitta but you could use white too.
Ingredients
Pitta breads
Spray oil - I use olive oil.
Seasoning - sea salt, pepper or herbs are great.
Instructions
Line a baking tray with parchment or foil and heat the oven to 180c fan
Carefully slice open the bread into two.
Cut the bread into bite size pieces.
Spritz with the oil
Season with herbs, sea salt and pepper.
Bake in the oven for around 5 minutes until they are golden and crisp.
Serve with any dip and keep any leftovers in an airtight container.
